Membership
Pacific Northwest Sculptors is an organization founded to unite it's members in the following goals: to promote greater public awareness and appreciation of regional sculptors and their work, to address issues which affect sculpture both locally and nationally, to combine resources and insights that we may better assist one another and advance both ourselves as individual artists and our field as a whole, and to renew the appreciation of sculpture as a vital art form by our concerted efforts.
There are a number of benefits to membership in Pacific Northwest Sculptors, including:
- Participation in an organization aimed at increasing the regional
and national interest in sculpture - Subscription to our monthly newsletter
- Invitation to monthly meetings
- Opportunity to show your work on this website
- Access to all Pacific Northwest Sculptors sponsored exhibitions
Each month a meeting is held at a different sculptor's studio, giving sculptors the opportunity to mingle and interchange ideas, to learn about new tools and techniques, and to see a variety of studios. Meetings are potluck.
Pacific Northwest Sculptors invites you to become a Member. The annual dues are: Colleague (Sculptor) - $55.00; Student - $30; and Allied (Industry) - $100. Annual dues are payable September 1, and you can deduct $5.00 if paid by September 15. Please contact the Portland headquarters here to apply.
For New Members Only: New members may prorate dues at the rate of $5.00 per month until the September 1st renewal date. For example, a new member joining in June would count June, July and August for a total of $15.00.
