Joe Powers lives in the small community of Machias, Washington with his wife of many years and their black lab Lucy. It is there he creates unique one of a kind art made out of steel and/or various other metals.

Nature is Joe’s primary inspiration. It is in the midst of nature he finds his calm. Joe has always dabbled in art, from wood carving to drawing. For over 30 years he was a welder by trade and never considered transforming what he did for a living into an expression of art. Ten years ago that all changed and his metal sculpting career blossomed.
